Andy Griggs is an American country music singer and songwriter born on August 13, 1973 in West Monroe, Louisiana. He began playing music at the age of ten and was performing in clubs by the time he was 16.
In 1998, Griggs was signed to RCA Nashville Records and released his debut single "You Won't Ever Be Lonely". The song peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, and earned him a nomination for Single of the Year at the 1999 Academy of Country Music Awards.
Griggs went on to release four studio albums with RCA Nashville and one with Montage Music Group. He had several other hit singles, including "She's More", "I'll Go Crazy", "Tonight I Wanna Be Your Man", and "If Heaven".
Griggs has also co-written songs for other country artists, including Montgomery Gentry's "You Do Your Thing" and Trace Adkins' "Tough People Do".
Throughout his career, Griggs has been known for his traditional country sound and powerful vocals. He continues to tour and perform live, and has also worked as a motivational speaker and philanthropist.
